01 — Discovery
Start with Story
We begin with a conversation about your space, your rhythm, and the kind of presence you want to create. Not a product list — a conversation. What the room is for, how you move through it, what you already own that has to live alongside the new work.

02 — Design
Design with Discipline
Sketches become measured drawings. You see shop drawings, material samples and finish samples before a single board is cut, along with a written estimate and a dated schedule. Nothing goes into production on a verbal maybe.

03 — Creation
Build with Care
Stock is selected board by board, grain matched, and cut in our Tacoma shop. Traditional joinery where it earns its place, modern hardware where that serves you better. Every piece is dry-fitted complete before it is finished.

04 — Installation
Deliver Presence
Our own crew delivers and installs, scribing to walls that are never quite plumb. We leave the site clean, walk you through care, and stay reachable afterwards — a repairable finish is only useful if someone will repair it.
What you receive
Drawings, samples, a date
Before fabrication begins you will have measured shop drawings showing exactly what is being built, physical material samples in the species and cut specified, finish samples applied to that same species, a written estimate, and a dated schedule.
One of our clients described receiving shop drawings and a reasonable estimate within days of the first site visit, and installation complete in under two months. That is the standard we work to.
Common questions
Practical answers
It depends on material, scale and complexity, so we do not publish a price list that would be wrong for your project. What we do commit to is a written estimate after the design conversation and before fabrication, and working within a budget you have stated rather than discovering it later.
Furniture commissions commonly run three to five months; kitchens and larger millwork packages four to six. Roughly six weeks of that is design and approvals. We give you a dated schedule at the estimate stage.
Very little. Most clients arrive with a room, a rough idea and a photograph. Bring what you have — measurements, sketches on the back of an envelope, saved images. The first conversation is about the space and how you use it, not about specifying hardware.
Design and shop drawings are part of the commission. Where a project needs extensive exploratory design before a scope exists, we will discuss that with you openly up front rather than absorbing it invisibly into the price.
